Browsing repositories

I've configured SVN with Apache:

Now trying to browse the repositories with http://localhost/svn/ an
error is returned:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
unable to complete your request.

In the servers error log:
[Mon Aug 16 02:06:02 2004] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] The URI does
not contain the name of a repository. [403, #190001]

Does this mean, I have to append an existing repository? I've tried:
http://localhost/svn/upload and this seemed to work.

Is it possible to make SVN generate a list of available projects to
browse?
