I have clearcase.el for Emacs. What other integration would anyone ever need? Are there other editors? Oh, you must be talking about vi. :-P

Your point is valid. There are some integrations for ClearCase, but not as many as for subversion. ClearCase supplies you with a lot of really nice tools, but you need to use their tools (ClearCase way, not your way, remember?).
