But seriously... we're working on doing an RC2 release tonight, maybe
tomorrow morning. Assuming it works well with users, 1.1.0 'final' will
be released 4 weeks from today. This is all based on discussion
happening on the dev@ list.

That said, it's not like the 1.1.0-RC1 or RC2 releases are 'beta' or
'unstable'. They're called "release candidates" because the dev team
believes them to be stable and ready for production use. So please, use
them.
