I had a similar problem a while ago, and was told to remove the __db
files from the db folder of the repos. I didn't get the exact same
message (svn just hanged), but it was quite a while ago, and the
version was not the same.
I'm not sure it fits your problem though. You should probably wait for
a confirmation ;)
