Thanks,

I was looking in my printed copy of the book, but "Server Configuration"
didn't occur to me to be a place to look for explanation of working copy
(client) cache files... But I see it now.

cd ~/.subversion/auth/
grep for a username or realm string
examine the contents of candidate cache files
delete the appropriate cache file

This is explained in chapter 6.
