Re: svn http accessing error

My repository is own by user root group root, when I change my
repository's permissions and permission of all files below it to 777,
then I can read. I don't think that is very safe, and I don't think that
is the way I suppose to do. I set up the httpd server(httpd conf) so
the repository is anonymously acessible. So what am I missing here? I
read the part "Supporting Multiple repository Access Methods" in the
SVNbook, but don't really understand it.
