Suppress password prompt

Hi,
I'm using svn list in a script, I'd like the script to pass the auth
details to svn, and fail if those details aren't correct.
However subversion instead prompts for the correct details. How can I
suppress this?
I tried -q, but it says that svn list doesn't support -q.

Thanks for any help
Chris
