Sometimes I use no latin (koi8-r) charset for my log messages.
For mail notification I use post-commit hook and commit-email.pl script.
But it dosn't send true charset. I see the mail like this:

- ---
Author: step
Date: 2004-06-28 12:42:10 +0700 (Mon, 28 Jun 2004)
New Revision: 40

Modified:
   msp/ADSPIFAC.C
Log:
?\208?\191?\209?\128?\208?\190?\208?\178?\208?\181?\209?\128?\208?\190?\209?
\135?\208?\186?\208?\176

....
- ---

But strange stuff if I do it directly:
step@step:~> /usr/share/subversion/tools/hook-scripts/commit-email.pl /home/svnroot/
40 mymail@domain.com

I get a good mail with truth koi8-r log message.
Does anybody know is it a bug?
