Getting rid of a dead transaction

Anyone have any thoughts on how to get rid of a dead transaction from a
repository? "svnadmin rmtxns" is not working for me on the specified
transaction. I'm thinking that as a last resort doing a dump of the
repository and then reloading it would get rid of it unless non committed
transactions are somehow recorded in the dump file? I'm hoping that they
aren't.
