What about using subversion to store backup scripts that live in the
subversion database directories? I was about to do this but then I
thought that having the directories that house the databases also be
working directories might be a bit confusing. What say someone
accidently checked in a database to the repository housed in that
database....
My solution was to house the working copies somewhere else and copy them
over as neccessary.
