svnadmin dump failure

Hi,

This question is an off-shoot of a previous question, but I think I need a
direct answer.

Basically, I tried to do a dump of my repository. It got up to revision
25 (of 40) of the dump, and then I get the following error:

"svn: Berkeley DB error while reading string for filesystem
SVNRepository/db: Input/output error"

How bad is this? Is my repository dead/corrupted?

I'm running Subversion on a Windows XP machine with a local repository on
my hard drive.

Thanks,
John
