Yes, I found out about the file later. Must have missed it the first time...
same thing about the book, skipped through it and didn't think about looking
there for this particular problem (assuming it was a server setting).
Stupid, because I'm usually the one shouting RTFM :)

Read the 'client auth caching' section of chapter 6 to understand what's
