Well I'm not sure the compressed metadata will make any difference. I
don't think a "dolt" will start changing the files in the .svn
directory although deleting the .svn directory to free up some space
seems quite credible. Don't you think than the same "dolt" deleting the
.svn dirs will delete the .svn.metadata files the same way ?
