Berkeley DB errors (RH 9, svn 1.0.0)

Hi-

        I've just installed v1.0.0 on RedHat 9 from the RPM's. I'm completely
new to svn, so this might be a total rookie question...

I did a "svnadmin create /svn/svnroot.private/" and received the following error:

svn: Berkeley DB error while creating environment for filesystem
/svn/svnroot.private/db: Function not implemented

After a little poking around, I decided to ignore it and move on,
however, when I tried to do a "cvs2svn -s /svn/svnroot.private
/cvs/cvsroot.private", I got the following:

...
committing: Tue May 15 21:14:42 2001, over 0 seconds
loading revision 1 into '/svn/svnroot.private'
svn: Berkeley DB error while opening environment for filesystem
/svn/svnroot.private/db: Function not implemented
Command failed: "svnadmin load -q /svn/svnroot.private < cvs2svn-dump"

Does anyobody have any ideas for me to try?

        Thanks,
        -Eric.
