Sure. You are missing the Java SDK install from Apple. Read the news
item on <http://fink.sf.net>. To build the subversion fink package you
need to have the java sdk installed. Install it from your xCode CD that
comes with Panther or download it from the apple developer site. The
packages "system-java14-dev" and "system-java14" are virtual packages
that will be installed as soon as you installed the necessary parts on
your system.

Please report back if you have more problems and also if you are
successful.
