Simple ! You'll need access to the project's repository tarball, and
then, you'll untar that somewhere (I untarred in tools/cvs2svn), and
then, convert.

To get the project's tarball, you'll need to be a project admin.

I know these are not step-by-step, but they should give you a good
headstart.
