cannot find -lswigpl

Hi,

I try to build the Perl bindings. I have

subversion 0.35.1
perl 5.8.2
swig 1.3.20
linux 2.4.20

when I run

make all

in the bindings/swig/perl directory I get the linker error

cannot find -lswigpl

I don't have libswigpl anywhere on my system. Does anybody know what it is?
Is it a part of swig or is it build by subversion? How do I build it?
