unable to restart apache 2.0.48 after upgrading Subversion from 0.32.1 to 0.35.1 on Windows 2000

When I click on the start button in the Apache service manager,
all it says is "The requested operation has failed".

I dumped my repository (created with 0.32.1)
I uninstalled Subversion 0.32.1,
I installed Subversion 0.35.1,
I moved the old repository and
I created a new one in the old location
I loaded the old repository dump file into the new repository
I verified the new repository

I also copied the Subversion Apache modules into my Apache directory
(after renaming the old ones).

Is there any way to get more information from Apache about what is going wrong?

Any other ideas?
