Lovely. I've got what I wanted from it: a message from last February.
Fortunately the message I wanted was near the beginning of the month so I
didn't have to download the whole 7 MB. It might be nice to provide it
gzipped, but then you'd have to consider whether to provide it in plain
format or other compressed formats as well, so maybe it's not worth the
hassle. It would just be a nice optimisation for some of us; it wouldn't
make the difference between "can use it" and "can't use it".
Since you asked for comments, it would also be nice, especially for those
downloading more than one month, if the download filenames were something
like "users-2003-02.mbox" and "dev-2002-12.mbox" instead of always
"mbox.cgi".
Regardless of these possible enhancements, thanks for making the archives
available.
