Update ignore for branches

Hi!

I'm happily using subversion but I have not yet found a solution for the
following problem:

I have a directory structure like that

Project/Documentation
Project/Analysis
Project/SourceTrunk
Project/SourceBranch
Project/SourceRelease

In SourceRelease we make always branches, when we make a new release of
the product. Now I like to make an update of the full project folder but
I don't want to store and download locally all the Release-branches. Is
there a way to tell subversion to ignore a directory from being updated
from the server. Something similar to svn:ignore but not for local
status but for update from the server.

Thank you very much for your help.

Daniel
