cvs2svn failure (in pass 5, "Filesystem has no item")

I get the following when trying to convert my debconf repository with
cvs2svn.

------- Committed revision 298 >>>

<<< Started new txn, based on original revision 299
     * editing path : trunk/Template.pm ... done.
     * editing path : trunk/debian/changelog ... done.
     * editing path : trunk/samples/demo.templates ... done.

------- Committed revision 299 >>>

<<< Started new txn, based on original revision 300
     * adding path : branches/potato ...COPIED... done.
     * adding path : branches/potato/Element/Noninteractive/Select.pm ...COPIED... done.
     * editing path : branches/potato/Client/dpkg-reconfigure.8 ...svn: Filesystem has no item
svn: file not found: transaction `8c', path `branches/potato/Client/dpkg-reconfigure.8'
pass 5: 270 seconds
 total: 270 seconds

I'm using subversion 0.26 now, but I also got this the day before
yesterday using cvs2svn from trunk (so revision 6567 I think), with
subversion 0.25. Oh and as you can see, I restarted at pass 5 in the run
above (since I'd forgotten to make the svn repo on the first run), but
it happens if I run all the way through too.

A 1.8 mb tarball of the cvs repository is temporarily at
http://kitenet.net/~joey/tmp/debconf-cvs.tgz
