For my Windows Server, I have just installed the TortoiseSVN only, not even set up the repository yet. Thanks in an advance.

If the developer had (a) separate repository/ies for the projects in
question, just let him send his whole repository and copy the files onto
the machine (assuming he hosted the repository on the Windows machine).
Otherwise one way to extract the relevant data is to let him run an svn
dump in combination with the dumpfilter and then load that dump into
your repository.
See the web (especially the svn redbook) for starters on the topics on
svn dump and the dumpfilter.
