They're supported but nothing is done by default in Subversion - you
have to tell the software what you want it to do.

Keep reading that page I gave you. You're looking for "automatic
property setting".

You don't want to apply these to all files all the time, because
they'll hose binary files. tsvn:autoprops is only honored by
TortoiseSVN. The auto-props setting in your client configuration will
apply to all SVN clients on your computer, but you have to set it up
on each user's workstation/homedir.
