Update by itself will not get rid of the exclamation mark. That icon
shows changes in your local file and update does not get rid of those.

F5 often works. Sometimes if you collapse the folder view in the tree
pane of explorer first then it works better. These are known
shortcomings of Windows Explorer which doesn't always take notice of
refresh notifications as it should.

Failing that try TSVN->Cleanup (make sure 'refresh shell icons' is checked).
