Strange Connection Error

From: Thomas Bednarz <pub_at_bednarz.ch>

I use tortoisesvn for years without any problems so far. Now I cannot connect anymore. There are very strange Error messages, no matter whether I use http:<myurl>:8080 or https://<myurl>:8443.
When using SSL I always get a proxy error (I do not use a proxy, there is none in our network at all!!!):

"Unable to connect ot a repository at URL <URL> OPTIONS of <URL>: Could not create SSL connection thourht proxy server: 501 Not implemented"

When using normal http to the same URL I get:

"Unable to connect to a repository at URL <URL> Server sent unexpected return value (501 Not implemented) in response to OPTIONS request for <URL>."

If I enter the URL in a browser, it works fine with all browsers I have installed on my system.

I use the latest version: TortoiseSVN 1.7.8, Build 23174 - 64 Bit , 2012/08/13 19:49:45
Subversion 1.7.6

The server is VisualSVN Server 2.5.6 running on Windows 2008 R2. The server is in a Datacenter and I can access it either over the Internet with a public IP or through a VPN with the internal IP.

Any idea what is wrong here?

Any help is greatly appreciated, since I cannot access any of my source files at the moment!
