Thanks for your fast response.

I want to use revision properties to set a maturity state for a certain revision where team members can supply a state like "Tested", "Ready for Release" or similar for a certain revision.
I can not set this property on a path because this would increase the revision number and I don't have a proof that there are no other changes in that revision.

For exmaple:
Revision 123 is frozen for testing purposes.
Once it is tested, its maturity level is changed, reflected by a revision property. But at this point I can not allow the revision to be changed.

I also want to use revision properties to trigger certain events in combination with server side hooks like labelling, exporting into other repositories aso.

For this purpose, it would be helpful to set up dialogs so that developers can simply choose the property value using this dialog.
