Just guessing, is drive N a network share and are you using the file://
access method? In that case, you are probably bitten by a combination of
different states of the remote filesystem implementation and/or perhaps
a virus scanner, both on your machine and the server. The general advise
is to set up a server process instead. Alternatively, you could move the
repository to a local harddisk. Anything else (I believe) not officially
supported and more or less unreliable. Note that it can be that you
simply try the commit again and that it works.
