blank TSVN error window on diff when SSL handshake failed

Earlier today, our Svn server was down such that when trying to run "svn update" we received SSL handshake errors.

Just before it went down, I had opened the Log Messages window.

Then, while it was down, I selected a revision and double-clicked on a file to see the revisions.

TortoiseSvn brought up a window that said "Subversion error" but there were no details. I would have hoped to see the SSL handshake error here. It was in fact after this that I did the svn update and saw the SSL handshake error, and then I knew the root problem was a server issue.

Is it possible to get error details into windows like that one?
