I think this problem (SVN context menu is missing when one right click on a versioned file in window explorer) may be caused by the permission setting in registry.

I start seeing the context menu on the versioned files again when I do the following things:

1. Go to registry editor using regedit
2. Go to and click on HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/*/shellex/ContextMenuHandlers/TortoiseSVN
3. Observe error message box saying access is denied.
4. Right click on the key mentioned above, go to "Permissions"...
5. In the permission dialog, click on "Advanced"
6. Click on "Owner" tab, click on your account and click "Apply"
7. OK the dialog, click on "Add..."
8. Enter your account name in the text area and click "OK"
9. OK the permission dialog.

Now when you click on the key "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/*/shellex/ContextMenuHandlers/TortoiseSVN" you should see NO error message box and should see the data string on (Default).

And now the problem (SVN context menu is missing when one right click on a versioned file in window explorer) should be fixed.

It certainly works on my machine anyway... Hopefully your machine behave the same...
