TortoiseSVN Users: TortoiseSVN truncates URL shown in repo browser to 259 characters

I created a file with a really long file name and committed it to a subversion repository (the SVN URL is 274 characters long). I expected the full URL to be listed in the TortoiseSVN repo browser when clicking on this filename. However, the resulting URL listed in the repo browser window is truncated to 259 characters. I changed the filename to various lengths and any URL length greater than 259 characters gets truncated.

Below is the example I tried:

Actual SVN URL (274 characters long):

http://azgeng01:8080/svn/sandbox/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
