Finally I've found the problem.
Alternate diff tools settings are duplicated in my settings for most Filename/Extension - one is with leading dot and one without. I don't know how it happens (for sure I haven't do it by myself). Maybe there were some change in meaning of this collumn or convention has been changed.
My private definition which won't work was without dot. It started to work after adding leading dot.
