RepoBrowser randomly hangs up when creating a tag

After switching to TSVN 1.7.x I observed that RepoBrowser sometimes
hangs up when I create tag using the "Copy to..." command.
In more detail, RepoBrowser will ask for the name of the tag to be
created, then ask for the log message and then will sometimes hang up
forever.

I observed that if I start the Repobrowser, wait a few minutes and then
create the tag, RepoBrowser never hangs up. On the contrary, if I issue
the "Copy to..." command immediately after starting RepoBrowser, it
sometimes hangs up.
I feel something RepoBrower does at startup (pre-fetching ?) can
sometimes interfere with the "Copy to..." command.

I'm currently using TSVN 1.7.2 on Windows XP connecting to a 1.6.x SVN
server.

Anyone else observed the same problem ?

Bye
