Thanks for your reply, but my version of Windows (XP Pro sp3) doesn't have a hot-key for the "New" item on the File menu. Nor is there a keyboard shortcut for File | New | Folder.

Again, I'm looking to make the software conform to the way that I want to work. Not vice versa.
