Windows Case Sensativity

I know this has been reported in the past. So I will make it brief. Is
there a solution around case sensitivities on windows as all? I have looked
on google and found this issue dating back to Jan 26, 2006 at this location
www.hanselman.com/blog/SubversionCasesensitivityProblems.aspx. I have also
seen two other mentions of this on the forum but no real response:

712148> &dsMessageId=712148. The basic issue I have seen it is that
tortoise svn, doesn't read the case correctly on windows at all. This
causes whole directories to not be usable in source control. The tool is
great but because of this issue it is unusable for our company. I even
found someone was willing to create a patch here:

"procedure." Personally I think a patch for an issue over 5 years running
would be more important that some procedure (not to be sounding angry). It
is just that this is a huge issue for some of us that have spent countless
hours trying to get around. The only solutions I know of are to install
linux or get a mac. This seems like a drastic measure for something that
could be patched.
