RE: installing the right version

Having a 64-Bit CPU doesn't mean you are running a 64-Bit version of the OS. So, I expect the 32 bit version is correct for you.

Perhaps you should report the full steps of what you are doing with the error message (I doubt it says yada yada in the error dialog) to this list.
