Icon overlays showing in not versioned folder

I have one folder where I store all of my projects - let's name it MAIN. In
MAIN, there are some projects that are versioned, but most of them are not.
I checkouted some new project files from repository into MAIN, unfortunately
didn't making new folder for checkouted project. After I noticed that, I
canceled operation, but some folders from that project were already
downloaded.
That's when all unversioned folders in MAIN received icon overlays. That
really bothered me and I thought that deleting .svn folder (one showed up in
MAIN) should be enough to get rid of them - unfortunatelly that didn't work.

I tried removing checkouted folders, restarting pc, reinstalling tortoise
and even deleting all .svn folders I found - used-to-be-versioned folders
lost they icons, but unversioned one still stay.
What do I need to do to get rid of them?
I work on WinXP with newest version of TortoiseSVN
