SubWCRev performance issue

Greetings to the group,

I have a question regarding the SubWCRev tool; we utilise the tool for
obtaining the information about local copy SVN revision of our
several repositories. Our repos are quite large and the tool uses
significant amount of time to obtain that information (>5 min) on our
dedicated build server.

Note that we are only interested in obtaining local copy revision
number - is there a performant way of obtaining this info?

I've done a little research in the .svn folder and have found out that
local copy revision number number is stored in "entries" file but i'm
unsure of its correctnes..
