Having issues with TortoiseSVN 64 bit.

I am having a problem with TortoiseSVN-1.6.12.20536-x64-svn-1.6.15. I am
getting errors when updating a project folder(an example):

Error: Can't move 'C:\Users\Larry\Projects\BGA
Error:
Media\Crossroads_Of_Learning\journal_archive_100109\media\2009\06\21\washtenaw-literacy-tutoring-offers-job-seekers-valuable-experience\.svn\tmp\entries'
Error: to 'C:\Users\Larry\Projects\BGA
Error:
Media\Crossroads_Of_Learning\journal_archive_100109\media\2009\06\21\washtenaw-literacy-tutoring-offers-job-seekers-valuable-experience\.svn\entries':
Error: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

It is also corrupting my disk as Windows 7 wants to do a chkdsk when I
restart the pc.

The configuration is that I have a Vista Deskside hardwired to the router. I
have twolaptops, one running Vista and one running Windows 7connected to the
router over wifi. The Vista systems are 32 bit and t Windows 7 system is 64
bit. My repositories oar on a WD network drive. The folders on this drive
look like shared folders and I have them mapped to each PC.

I ftped the customer project to the Deskside and created the repository. I
then Checked out the repository on the laptops. I created the repository in
several stages, it is now at revision 6. The Vista Laptop had no problems
with the updates. The Windows 7 laptop is having the problem. A note on
the project, over 25K files in about 2K folders.
