To your first and last part: You know just as well as me that the text on
the issue page was not the same as you got in this email that you quote. And
it still don't legitimate what was said.

To the second part. If someone post an feature request, you are still able
to discuss this as much as you want on the mailing list. It's just that (in
many peoples point of view) it should not be mandatory for a feature request
to go through those steps. The only thing that should be mandatory is that
it should be a good report with good information. The current process seems
to generate a lot of extra work with no real gain.

This still does not mean that I posted because I did not agree with your
ways. There was no information that I needed an approval from you guys to
post a feature request, just that it should be posted on the mailgroup
first. There will be no further feature requests from me.

Anyway, I see no point in discussing this further. I've shared my thoughts,
and you can do whatever you want with it.
