Re: Feature request: Trigger cleanup command after commit

I have a number of non technical users on my team and it's just confusing to them when the icon overlay doesn't change immediately.

Ticking a checkbox through the GUI would be easiest for me to train people to do if that's all it toon for the icon overlay cache to update after a commit. There's no way I'd be able to train some people on a command line interface.

Why would you not recommend the post commit hooks be added?

Maybe that's not the right way to go about it - what I'm really asking for is for the icon overlay cache to refresh more often / after a commit, or at least be configurable to behave that way.
