Tortoise: bug delete links the original file was deleted

Hi there

Almost a year ago Martin Krumpholz wrote a bug entry for this. See mail from 2008-10-13 14:53:37 PDT.

Now, the problem is not so grave when the link target is versioned too. But we have cases where such a .lnk file points to a folder that is not under version control. If you now delete this link, the target will be deleted too and often this is not recognized.

In our view this is a very dangerous feature. At least we would expect a warning dialog with a choice to select if the the target and/or the link should be deleted.

What do you think about this issue?
