Problems to checkout - so slow

I'm having troubles to checkout a directory from my repository.

I'll try to explain my situation.

I'm using the "branches/tags/trunk" structure. In trunk\ I have a
couple directories. One of them I imported about one year ago. And
another one I move from branches\ folder, because I have a product and
I created a new version of it.
But now, some users having troubles to checkout this new version. It's
so slow. And it's happening just in WinXP/Vista OS. Another users are
using Win7 have no problems. The ckeckout takes about 5~7 min with
Win7. But it takes about 120 min with WinXP/Vista.

Does anyone else have a similar situation? Or someone knows something
to fix it? If I format and install Win7, everything works fine. But I
don't want to format all pcs.

Thanks in advance.

Rafael
