We use Linux server with red hat 5.5.
The server uses apache 2.0 with kerberos authentication.
the version of SVN on the server is 1.5.6.
The clients are XP.
When working through tortoiseSVN 1.6.7 we are getting this error message when using repo browser:
"PROPFIND of /Fqa/test authorisation failed.could not authenticate to server.could not parse challenge https://server"
and by looking on the server access log we can see that there is no passing of a ticket to the apache server.
>> > 192.168.223.129 - - [22/Feb/2010:09:20:31 +0100] "PROPFIND /svn/ProjectName/branches HTTP/1.1" 401 394 "-" "SVN/1.6.9 (r901367)/TortoiseSVN-1.6.7.18415 neon/0.29.3"
On TortoiseSVN 1.6.6 and earlier there was no problems.
Is the developing road of TortoiseSVN is to continue supporting kerberos authentication?
Do you intend to check this claim, and are you going to publish a fixed version for the tortoiseSVN?
