TortoiseSVN Command line /path issue

I'm working on some scripts to automate a checkout from a repository. I'm
specifying the path in the /path but it seems that the checkout insists on
adding a directory matching the checkout folder. So I'm checking out using
something like:

TortoiseProc.exe /url:http://svnserver/CoolScripts/Release
/path:C:\\CoolScripts

Yet somewhere in there the "Release" is getting appended to my checkout
path, so that I'm stuck with checking it out to C:\CoolScripts\Release and I
cannot prevent it from happening.

Is this a bug/feature that I'll just have to deal with? or is there a way to
prevent the path getting changed on me.

Thanks,
