SVN Bug Report

I have installed version TortoiseSVN-1.6.6.17493-win32 on WindowsXP pro computer.

I open Windows Explorer and right click on the desired folder DS_SVN
I expect a SVN application to launch.
I get a Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close... (I have attached details)

Windows Explorer will also crash if I click on File, Edit Copy, and many other functions in Explorer.
If I uninstall TortoiseSVN everything works correctly.
If I reinstall TortoiseSVN it again fails.

I am a new user so have never been able to use the program so can not say if worked with earlier version.

The pdshext.dll that is referenced in the Error Signature is part of the program PowerDesk Pro ver 4.0.12.1 which is an Ontrack Data product that to my knowledge is no longer sold. It is a tool that is added to Windows Explorer probably in the same way as SVN.
