Revision numbers changed

I installed Subversive plugin for Aptana. From inside Aptana, I create a new repository in a location other than TortoiseSVN repository, but both, Subversive & TortoiseSVN are referring to the same working folder.

For a file, TSVN was showing version number 38 prior to installing Subversive, but now it is showing version 1. Why version numbers changed when both products have different repositories?
