Cannot see History for new changes after Restoring a Repository

We backup the entire C:\Respository folder for Tortoise on our Dev Server.
Today I had to grab a copy from our backups of this folder on 9/15 and use
that since our server crashed back to my C drive on our dev server. So I
copied it over to our dev server under C:\Repositories.

I opened up Visual SVN Server, looked great. I could tell that I could see
the latest from 9/14.

Ok fine. So I go to my local PC, create a new fresh folder and do a checkout
to the trunk of one of the projects. Looked good.

But anything I add or change, even a new file or any kind of update and
check back in, I see no record of it in the history.

And the history just stops at 9/15. I can't see any recent changes that I
make to this restored repository when I check in however I get an "ok" that
all was checked in.
