Not able to add "Delete unversioned items" to context menu

Under Tortoise->Settings->General->Context Menu it is possible to check/uncheck "Delete unversioned items...".
But checking this entry will not result in showing an entry in the context menu.
The other options will work fine. I can add "Diff", "Revision Graph", etc. to the context menu. Only "Delete unversioned items" seems to be a problem.
Can anyone help?
