RE: TortoiseSVN uses englisch strings on Windows 7 even if a language pack is installed

If you take a look at the translation status updates which are periodically sent to the mailing list, you'll see updates on this.

For example, the last one sent [1] states that German is OK and therefore all strings are properly translated: those untranslated strings will be likely fixed in a recent and/or upcoming release.

Note that you may get involved with the translation process in order to help improving it. ;-) For example: there are cases when the untranslated strings may simply correspond to strings which were not declared to be translatable: checking for that usually requires manual intervention.
