I left way the path (for here) but that one is fine. I can also use
the same path
in the browser and I can see the repo then...

Dialog:
Command Checkout from http://......, revision {2009-01-01}, Fully
recursive, Externals included
Error: URL 'http://.......' doesn't exist
Finished!

a) I have choosen an exisitng branch from the repo browser
b) outputpath: c:\temp\dummy1
c) writing {2009-01-01} into the revision field.
d) pressing ok.

same on command line:

svn checkout -r {2009-01-01} http://..... c:\temp\dummy2
